Trivia:
1.-La co-protagonista del film, Judy Tyler, falleció en un accidente automovilístico el 4 de julio antes del estreno del film.
2.- Frente a la imposibilidad de Bill Black de no poder dar las notas para el comienzo de la canción Baby I don`t care, el propio Elvis decide tomar el bajo eléctrico para ejecutar definitivamente, y para sorpresa de todos en el estudio de grabación, las notas que dan inicio al master de la canción que conocemos hasta el día de hoy. La versión que se conoce de esta canción es la mezcla del instrumental, en la que Elvis toca el bajo, con la versión a Capella editada por BMG en 1997.
3.- El 5 de febrero, de ese año, el Coronel Parker informa a la prensa que este nuevo film de Elvis llevaría por nombre The Rock.
4.- Durante las filmaciones, y accidentalmente, Elvis se traga una de sus tapaduras dentales debiendo ser intervenido de urgencia y hospitalizado desde Mayo 14 a Mayo 18.
