Menelik II

Menelik II ( Ankober, 17 de agosto de 1844 – Adís Abeba, 12 de diciembre de 1913) fue emperador de Etiopía (llamada en aquel entonces Abisinia). Fue negus de Soa, en la Etiopía central, y emperador de Etiopía desde 1889 a 1909. Menelik II transformó el país, a partir de una serie de estados semiindependientes, en una nación unida.
